We proudly brew simple, balanced craft beers that can be to style, or of our own invention. We have 12 taps in our taproom AND on our rooftop patio so you can be sure you'll find something you like. A red ale made with only Sasquatch hops. Soft floral and mint characteristics balanced by sweet caramel malts.

This juicy, hazy IPA is the product of a Pink Boots Collaboration Brew and was brewed by a team of women at Dog Mountain Brewing for International Women's Day.
Partial proceeds will go to support women in the fermented beverage and alcoholic beverage industries.
This special hop blend was designed by 37 different PBS chapters and Yakima Chief hops; you can expect a citrusy, floral, berry and peachy hazy West Coast style IPA.

This West Coast IPA is brewed by continuous additions of hops throughout the boil. Simcoe, amarillo and warrior hops create a hop wave matched by no other!

The 2022 Gold Medal Winning American Wheat Beer (Canada Beer cup)!! A subtle, refreshing American Wheat Beer brewed with sweet orange and coriander.

The 2021 Gold Medal Winning Belgian Pale Ale (Canadian Brewing Awards)!! This Belgian style beer is brewed with a ton of caramelized honey. Clove, bubble gum and slight banana flavours and aromas will bring you to the fields where honey is made! No bees were harmed while making this beer.
What is a steam beer? It is a lager that is fermented at a temperature that is higher than traditionally fermented lagers and this coaxes out more flavours from the malt! This is a collaborative Brew with the heritage society. The No 7 steam engine has been restored by a dedicated team of engineers and one day we hope it will resume its travels between the old train station in MacLean Mill. You will find this beer has notes of toffee, crème brûlée and very light coffee.

A TRIPEL IS A STRONG PALE ALE WITH ROOTS IN BELGIUM, SAID TO ORIGINATE AT THE WESTMALLE TRAPPIST BREWERY WHERE SOME OF THE BREWERS ARE STILL MONKS TO THIS DAY. THIS BEER HOWEVER, WAS BREWED BY STUDENTS OF NIC AND A COUPLE OF BREWERS FROM DOG MOUNTAIN BREWING IN PORT ALBERNI. YOU WILL FIND THIS STRONG BELGIAN STYLE ALE HAS DRIED STONE FRUIT CHARACTER, A NOTABLE HERBAL AND SPICY AROMA AND A LITTLE BOOZY MONK-FREE AFTERTASTE

Our most recent Gold Medal winning beer! Technically a Blonde was awarded a gold medal at the Canada Beer Cup, 2022. It is a blonde ale brewed with a Kveik yeast. It’s light and balanced with notes of white wine grapes, passionfruit and gooseberries.

The Bulldogs and DMB have teamed up to create a refreshing lager for you to enjoy at the rink or at Dog Mountain. Brewed with rice and a mixture of new and old world hops, the Bulldogs lager is crisp, has light malt notes and is very refreshing.
4.7% abv 50ibu
An updated version of the original LTHZ recipe. Belgian yeast and a different hop bill makes this IPA a session white IPA. Papaya, mango and pineapple notes accompanied by pepper and a little citrus. Light and refreshing!

We all feel better when the sun is shining! Wash the rainy days away with this Berliner Weiss, gently hopped with Hull Melon hops and aged on real peach and plum puree.
We brewed a rich, dark sweet stout and infused it with Effingham oyster shells. The extra mineral and salinity from the shells complement the rich chocolate flavours of this stout.
Only available in a 500ml bottle which has been bottle conditioned in-house for two months. Your beer tender will offer to pour this for you at your table to ensure proper presentation for maximum enjoyment. you can also enjoy this beer to-go to age or drink immediately.
This Belgian Quad has a Canadian Brewing Award under it’s belt!
Brewed with dark chocolate malts, Belgian candy sugar and Nobel hops you’ll find this beer is reminiscent of the corner of a perfectly baked banana bread loaf.
Your server will offer to pour this beer since it is bottle conditioned and naturally has sediment in the bottom. This will ensure the proper presentation for your maximum enjoyment. Available to stay or to go, to age or drink immediately.
Valley Cider is located in the Cowichan valley here on Vancouver Island. Valley specializes in small batch specialty cider.
Noir - Our own blackberries, plus black cherries and black grapes blended with 16-month-aged handcrafted cider... all the juicy darkness we could fit into the bottle. A very subtle sherry note in the cider helps highlight a deliciously natural sour on the finish. All natural sweetness that doesn't become cloying or dull your senses to the berry/cherry character growing as you enjoy it.
Love Potion - Kinda tastes like you want to stare into someone's eyes for a while. Rose petals, lavender and damiana fuse into flavors which are more than the sum of their parts: floral on the nose, and more savory (think basil & ginger) on the palate. May be magical, and at the very least uniquely delicious.
Blanco - Best enjoyed while dreaming of somewhere you should have visited a long time ago. Deliciously vinous cider aged six months with American oak elicits an ambrosial tapestry of caramel & vanilla, touched by a hint of cherry. The smoked wood character up front is what you avoid in wine but we believe is the Grail of oaking in cider.
Humulus Lupulus - Hopped cider.
Poiple - Crisp dry handcrafted cider, blueberries, lemon zest and cinnamon, made radiant with butterfly pea blossoms. A unique pleasure to the eye and palate, and sultry as a pair of velvet pants. You don’t have to admit it to anyone, but you’re thinking about velvet pants now aren’t you? This is that good.
Wait What? - Pairs wonderfully with watching clouds pass by and not caring 'why'. Off-dry, medium sparkle. Originally named for the experience of starting a cidery, and now in its second incarnation a reflection of blending wild-fermented Tremlett's Bitter cider with our late-harvest BC apples.
Bon Dri - Pure. Apple. Cider. Pairs perfectly with any part of your day or night that you want to last just a little bit longer. Absolutely zero sweetness and aged for over 16 months. Deliciously light vinous character, a delicate Prosecco-like sparkle, and unmistakable knochentroken.
Gingerella - The luscious aromatics of fresh ginger, teased with kisses of cardamom, peppermint and caramelized gingered apple juice, blended with cider fermented with yeast that enhances Chardonnay characteristics. All you need now is... well, let’s be honest, that really is all that anyone needs.
Cherry Bomb - Dry vinous cider, Carmenere grapes, Triple Pearl dry-hopped, and blended with hibiscus and sour cherry, creating a... well, why spoil the surprise? I will say that the notes of Dr Pepper were a bit of a shocker.
Tropic of Cowichan - Turns out coconut and Grand Fir tips are long lost best friends, blending sweet tropical notes with savoury citrus and lime.
We stock premium hand crafted cocktails from Provincial Spirits out of Port Coquitlam.
Apricot, Lemon & Vodka Sour - Sour lemon and vodka kick up this citrus forward cocktail featuring fresh apricot juice. We add a hint of almond to bring balance to the final concoction.
Passionfruit, Orange, Guava and Vodka - This tropical concoction takes you to exotic places without going overboard. A vibrant blend of real fruit and craft vodka.
Wine is served by the half bottle. Each bottle is 375ml which is the equivalent to two 6oz glasses.
J. Lohr Cabernet Sauvignon, California, 13.5% abv, 2019 - $17
The 2019 J. Lohr Estates Seven Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon is dense and dark at the core, with a brilliant garnet hue around the rim. Ripe fruit aromas of black cherry and currant are accented by notes of toasted pastry, hazelnut, and vanilla from our barrel aging program. Big, juicy red-fruit flavors infuse the palate while softly textured tannins lead to a long finish. Extra Dry.
Masi Campofiorin Red Blend, Italy, 13% abv, 2018 - $16
Deep ruby red colour; lifted, savory aromas of figs and spices; the palate is dry, medium-bodied with dominating flavours of dried fruit - figs, cherries, with a nice backbone of spice; medium tannins are supple and the finish is medium. Extra Dry.
J. Lohr Chardonnay, California, 14% abv, 2020 - $17
The 2020 Riverstone Chardonnay exhibits youthful hues of light straw. The enticing aromas are reminiscent of ripe orange, peach, cocoa, and baking spices. The rich texture and balance on the palate from barrel aging sur lie offers flavors of ripe pear, apricot, citrus cream, hazelnut, and a hint of oak on the long finish. Dry.
Santa Margherita Pino Grigio, Italy, 12% abv, 2021, - $17
Vintages releases thousands of wines each year, and this is consistently a top seller. It put Pinot Grigio on the map with its refreshing quince, nuts, yellow pear and fresh pastry notes. Extra Dry.

Phillips iOTA craft beers are brewed right here on the Island in our great capital city. they are low calorie and only contain 0.5% alcohol.
