Our Story
From Humble Beginnings
After uprooting their lives in Alberta, Robin and Andy discovered the hidden gem that is Port Alberni and fell in love with an old building that needed a new lease on life. Strange enough, it used to be an old U-Brew so it seemed that this building was meant to be! Check out our Instagram account for progress photos of the build. It was crazy!
A LOT of hard work.
Who would have thought that building a brewery with a rooftop patio in a small town would be so hard? Well it was. We worked our tails off and after eight months of planning and nine months of construction, we started making beer.
Really Good Beer
After a short stint at another brewery and a few years of home brewing, it was trial by fire! We use premium ingredients and a blend of traditional and non-traditional techniques to create our own spin on classic and creative beers.
A Hidden Gem
Our mission was to build a hidden gem, sought out by lovers of local Craft Beer and delicious, hand crafted food that showcases the beauty of the Alberni Valley in the heart of Vancouver Island. A place where locals love and visitors seek out. We are proud of our home and our business and we dedicate our lives to sharing that with you.
